1. What this service is
TCG Alerts is an independent, hobbyist-run notification service that monitors publicly available trading-card-game product pages on selected Swiss online shops and forwards detected restocks to subscribers via Telegram.
The service is delivered through two separate Telegram destinations:
- Public Telegram group: free to join. Used for announcements, onboarding instructions, and general communication.
- Paid bot channel: requires a one-time or recurring payment (details and current pricing are posted inside the public group). Restock notifications are pushed here.
Joining the public group does not create any payment obligation. Access to the paid channel is only granted after payment is confirmed.
2. No guarantee of accuracy, speed, or completeness
The service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. In particular, but without limitation:
- Notifications may be delayed, duplicated, incomplete, inaccurate, or missed entirely.
- A restock may sell out before, during, or immediately after a notification is sent. No claim of "first to know" is made or implied.
- Products shown by monitored shops may be mispriced, out of stock at the moment of purchase, region-locked, or otherwise unavailable for reasons outside of this service's control.
- Coverage is limited to the URLs and product categories actively watched by the bot. Items outside of those watchers will not trigger alerts.
3. No guarantee of continuous operation per shop
Each shop is monitored by a separate scraper that depends on the structure and behavior of that shop's website. Shops change their websites without notice. As a result:
- Any individual shop monitor may break at any time, for any duration, without warning.
- Repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. There is no service-level agreement, no guaranteed response time, and no commitment to fix any specific monitor within any specific timeframe.
- Shop monitors may be permanently removed from the service at any time, for example if a shop becomes too unstable, blocks automated access, changes its catalog, or ceases trading. Removal does not entitle the subscriber to a refund or compensation.
- The list of monitored shops shown on the homepage reflects the current target list, not a binding guarantee that every listed shop is operating at any given moment.
4. Payments
Pricing, accepted payment methods, and billing cadence for the paid bot channel are communicated inside the public Telegram group at the time of signup. By paying for access, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
Payments are non-refundable except where required by mandatory consumer-protection law. Temporary outages, broken monitors, missed notifications, or the removal of individual shop monitors do not, on their own, constitute grounds for a refund.
5. No affiliation
TCG Alerts is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any trading-card-game publisher, intellectual-property rights holder, or any of the shops it monitors. All trademarks, product names, and brand assets remain the property of their respective owners and are referenced, where unavoidable, only for descriptive purposes.
TCG Alerts has no commercial relationship with the monitored shops. It is a passive, read-only observer of their public product pages.
6. User responsibility
Subscribers act on notifications at their own discretion and risk. All purchase decisions, including any contract concluded with a monitored shop, are exclusively between the subscriber and that shop. TCG Alerts is not a party to any such transaction and has no influence over shipping, pricing, stock allocation, payment processing, returns, or customer service.
Subscribers are responsible for complying with the terms of service of the shops they purchase from, including any rules regarding bots, automated checkout, or purchase quantity limits.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TCG Alerts, its operator, and anyone involved in providing the service shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (including but not limited to lost profits, missed purchase opportunities, price differences, or emotional distress) arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.
8. Changes to this notice
These terms may be updated at any time. The current version is always the one published at this URL. Material changes will be announced in the public Telegram group. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
